What Does a Bad Float Needle Valve Look Like Carburetor Inspection en450 454 Motorcycle

Notice the black rubber tip. The triangle shape should be smooth all the way to the point. Rough idling with low RPMs could be because the float needle isn’t seating correctly in the bowl. You can find replacements in carb kits or single item.

  1. Words could have been helpful …. The video is great and shows closeup BUT for someone that does NOT know what is bad about it wont know because you didn't say anything…

After watching another video on YouTube WITH WORDS, he clearly told you what to look for and showed you what to look for …

    QUESTION IS …
How and why does it get like that..??

  2. Who can help me with this? I have a 2004 blaster that wouldn't stsrt without stsrting fluid. I took it apart and the float needle was stuck in the thing it slides up/down in. Would that cause it to Not start? I broke the tip of it so I can't toss it back together until the rebuild kit gets here, would it start with the tip being broke or no?

  3. Nice video no half hour of running your head because your who the hell you think you are and so on thumbs up on doing what the video says you will do!

  4. That's still good here in Cambodia. Get out a chop stick and some cigarette ashes and rub into the float needle brass seat.
